Encore at Streeter Pond

It’s a little like a 1980’s concert…just when you think they are going to end the show without playing the radio single- the band reappears like powerless zombies summoned by cheap plastic lighters back to the stage. Here is a nice rainbow trout (most likely stocked by Fish and Game for the upcoming ice fishing season) who went for a black ghost in the rain. It’s amazing that I caught him. Not because he is a tremendous catch, but more because I have always made a point to leave the arena on the second to last song in a frantic effort to beat the exodus. Lesson learned. If you happen to be at a Men Without Hats concerts…stick around to hear “The Safety Dance”.
